This chair has an extreme load capacity because of it’s one piece, rotationally molded design for increased strength. There are no wood or steel components making it ideal for correctional and behavioral health use. It has a 1500 pound static work load and can be bolted together, in place, and attached to the floor. If you do not want to bolt it to the floor, they have an optional ballast door in the back of the chair that can be filled with sand and secures with tamperproof inserts.
